chapter1

~~
Prologue

Long ago there were Elves, thousands of them roamed the world everywhere, Dwarves lived inside of the mountains, and amongst humans. The Holy Paladin order was loved by all, in the human kingdom, the invading Orcish empire had been destroyed by the Paladin order and the small human army, showing the Paladins worth in battle, the other kingdoms respected the humans because of this. They became allies setting up trade routes and allowing their kinds free travel through each others kingdoms as long as they had a passport. The kingdoms flourished in these times as did the Paladin order. However the peace was short lived, a powerful necromancer led a huge army of undead against the races intentions of conquering. The Necromancer had followers also who wished to learn necromancy, seven of whom were Paladins even; these seven Paladins were known as the seven betrayers, together they were nearly unstoppable. They were sent into seven separate stones called abyssal chambers, the stones were then hide all across the land, each being put into a temple to hold the abyssal chambers, Meanwhile the Paladin order was blamed for most of what happened, mainly because seven members of their order betrayed them for the necromancer. The other lands isolated themselves from the humans having heavy losses not wanting any further communication towards the order. The humans hated the order, anyone who could use magic even,The other races become mere story's to the humans, however the Paladin order stayed alive, and so did the hate for them, and anyone else able to use magic, and it only grew over time.

Chapter 1
Alphoeus yawned as he sat up in his cotton bed looking around, the light was shining through the window of his room. His room was small yet cozy with sturdy oaken walls, he knew it was more than most people in this land had, especially in these times. Sunlight shined in through his window, which was shut tightly so nothing could fly in, he didn't have curtains to keep the sunlight out, but better sunlight than bugs and birds. It was stuffy in his room due to the window being closed though, he could feel himself sweating, he threw off his blankets and got out of the bed. Alphoeus was a young man at only seventeen years of age, he was tall, and was a broad sturdy adolescent. He had short almond hair, forest green eyes, and tan skin. He lived with his mother, Acca who was forty three, and younger sister, Adelphia who was fifteen. His father, Adolphus died when Alphoeus was a boy, killed while trying to put an end to one of the many revolts in Almericus, the capital of the kingdom. Life was harder because of this, but they got by because they all worked hard to earn money however they could.

Alphoeus quickly got down on the hard wooden floor, careful not to get splintered, the floor was old and the wood was hazardous, “I should really get to fixing this floor when I get the chance”, he got under his bed, pulling out his clothes, an overly large dark brown tunic, his pants were the same as his tunic, both made from the fur of animals, his boots however were made of wolf skin. Finally, after much searching, he found his belt and strapped it on tightly around his waist. he sat down on his bed and pulled on his boots which were next to his bed. He then got up and walked out into the main part of the house, finding his mother, and Adelphia sitting at the table seemingly waiting for him. A small table in the middle of the room with oaken chairs and table, everything in the house was oak, they were the most abundant trees around. On the wall straight ahead to the far right was the door to Adelphia's room, the wall to the left of him was his mother's room, on that wall was a painting of him and his family from about fifteen years ago when his father was still alive.

They all were in an open field where the sheep grazed, his father was sitting on a large boulder, his family surrounding him. He was a short, stocky man with short blond hair, blue eye's, a lightly trimmed beard on his face, in the picture he wore a sleeveless bear skin tunic, showing his broad hairy arms. He also wore woolen pants. A confident smile on his face, his mother was sitting in his fathers lap, head resting on his shoulder, his arm wrapped around her waist. She wore a blue woolen dress, and a brown blouse under her dress covering her bosom with sleeves going down to her wrists. A beautiful copper necklace was around her neck given to her by her husband. Alphoeus had on a simple tunic, and trousers, his hair was longer, he was lean and lanky with skin as pale as a babes bum. A large grin was on his face, his fathers hand resting on his head. Adelphia, who was a mere infant at the time, was wrapped in a woolen blanket, being held in her mothers arms.

Alphoeus sighed, he missed his father dearly, Alphoeus looked to the table where his mother and Adelphia were sitting eating breakfast.

His mother was very beautiful for her age, her hair was black and curly with a couple gray strands in her curls, with deep blue eye's. She wore a black fur dress, with a blouse covering her bosom under the dress.

Adelphia was a very lovely girl, with curly blond hair and sky blue eye's, her milkshake brought all the boys. Of course none of them really interested her so they never got any of her milkshake. She also wore a black woolen dress, with a blouse underneath her dress.

Alphoeus sat at the table, and began eating silently, his mother smiled at him, "hello Alphoeus.”

He looked to his mother swallowing his food he smiled back, “hello, mother, Adelphia.”

Adelphia smiled, “hey  Alphoeus!” This was hardly audible due to her speaking with her mouth full of food which flew across the table.

“Adelphia! Don't speak with your mouth full its rude!” Their mother scorned her mother angrily.

“Sorry”, she said through the food in her mouth with a sheepish smile.

Her mother glared at her, “you better swallow that before I slap it out of your mouth so you can clean it up!”

This convinced her to quickly swallow her food, without protest, once it was all down she smiled again, “sorry mother, but you did always teach me to speak when spoken to.”

“I also taught you not to be a smart mouth”, she said with a fierce glare.

Alphoeus didn't really pay attention, just another day in the Aloysius family, he needed to get his food eaten so he could begin his chores, he had plans to go hunting afterward. He easily got his food scarfed down much to his mothers displeasure.

“Alphoeus don't eat so fast you look like a slob”, she scorned.

He nodded submissively, “I'm sorry mother”, luckily he was already done, he stood and set his dishes in the sink then walked outside without another word. He began his daily stretching to loosen his body. After his body felt loosened he walked out to the barn to clean the horse stalls. He walked into the barn grabbed the shovel and bucket then started scooping the manure from the ground into the bucket, it wasn't hard, the worst part was the stench but he was able to handle it. After about fifteen minutes he had finished, he took the shovel setting it up against the wall and took the bucket of crap out of the barn where he dumped it all on the poop pile away from where everyone walked. Then he walked back into the barn and pulled the horses out to groom and bathe them, they all were well behaved and responsive to him, and was done very quickly, he then went to the sheep, when he got to their pen though they were all gone.

Obviously Adelphia took them out to graze, he decided he'd take this time to clean their pen while he had the chance. He went to the sheep pen with the shovel and bucket and cleaned it of the manure and poured the contents of the bucket onto the poop pile, then he went to check on his sister. He wasn't surprised to find her asleep, he rolled his eyes as he started counting the sheep, if everything was alright he'd let her sleep and watch the sheep for her. All the sheep were here as he expected, he sighed as he sat on the ground not far from his sister. The sheep walked up to him saying hello and nibbling on his shirt, he laughed a little, petting it as it continued nibbling on his shirt; as long as it didn't try eating his shirt he didn't mind. Suddenly he saw something looking at him from beyond the forest, the forest was fairly far off but close enough for him to see clearly at about a hundred paces. He stood ready to run off to his house to get his bow but was scared about leaving his sister alone, he shook her shoulder roughly waking her up.

She glared at him angrily, “what's your problem Alphoeus?”

“go get my bow Adelphia, I saw something in the forest and I don't know what it is.”

Adelphia's face quickly turned to fear, she nodded as she stood to her feet, “be careful Alphoeus”, she then ran off to the house, even she knew the forest was a dangerous place, wolves and other monstrous beast's lurked in it's womb.

Alphoeus stood there apprehensively a moment before gathering the sheep up and herding them towards the pens where they'd be safe, carefully so they wouldn't run and possibly scatter. Opening the pen they all walked in one by one, once all of them were in he ran back to where he saw something moving in the forest. He looked to the house in frustration “where is that girl?” Suddenly an arrow shot out of the forest towards him, the arrow grazed his cheek, he yelled in pain as he held his right cheek, blood gushing out of his cheek which now had a large slice across it. He quickly started running towards a tree, he hid behind it  peeking out to the forest, however there was nothing there and even if there was he wouldn't be able to fight back until Adelphia got back with his bow and arrows, it then occurred to him she could get shot. He looked to the house to find her finally coming out, he opened his mouth to find his cheek screaming in pain, he fought through it though, “Adelphia!!”

She stopped as she saw him behind the tree he motioned for her to get down, instead she lifted her skirts higher than he'd ever wished he'd ever have to see in his life and ran as fast as she possibly could and pushed him out of the way, making him fall out from behind the tree, he quickly got up and ran at her, she didn't back down but smiled cheekily at him. He snatched the bow from her and glared at her a moment longer, he motioned to the bow angrily indicating he needed an arrow. She took an arrow out of his quiver and handed it to him, he took it and knocked his bow, then poked his head out from behind the tree, but an arrow zoomed past his head by less than an inch. He quickly pulled his head back behind the tree, shaking; he had almost died.

Adelphia looked at him quizzically, “what's got you all shaken up?”

“An arrow just barely missed me”, replied Alphoeus hesitantly.

Adelphia's eye's widened, “who would want to kill you, you didn't do something stupid when you went into town the other day did you?”

“Don't be stupid Adelphia, you know I don't do stupid things like that, I don't know who these people are, all I know is that they are trying to hurt us.” He sighed as he poked his head out again but only for a moment, another arrow zoomed passed but he had his head back before then. He sighed as he looked to his sister with a hard stare, “we'll have to wait them out, either they'll leave or will grow impatient and come out.”

Adelphia groaned, “but I hate waiting!”

“Get over it Adelphia this is serious!”

She huffed, “crossed her arms and began pouting, fine...”

Alphoeus and Adelphia sat behind the tree for about an hour, with Alphoeus checking if the enemy had showed themselves yet, there was no sign as of yet though. The entire time Adelphia was moaning and groaning, complaining about how bored she was, how she was starting to get hungry and how her legs were getting numb, Alphoeus just started ignoring her after a while. Tried to that is. She was right in his ear and her whinny voice was really annoying, finally he turned to her in anger, “shut up Adelphia, your so annoying!”

“Well I'm b-”

“I don't care I'm ready to shake you senseless, now shut up before I shake your brain out your nose!”

He looked back but saw nothing, he sighed as he looked to his feet, “how long is this going to go on for?”

Suddenly a noise was heard, Alphoeus quickly looked back from behind the tree again to find nothing, he turned to find Adelphia walking away, he stood and ran after her, “hey where do you think your going, its-” he yelped as he hopped back behind the tree again poking half his face from behind the tree.

Adelphia rolled her eyes at him, “Alphoeus there is nothing dangerous out here okay, trust me I'd be dead if they were still here.”

Alphoeus blinked, she made a fair point, “b-but....what are you even doing walking out like that?! You know better than that! You could've been killed!”

She shrugged, “so? I'm hungry. Food comes before survival Alphoeus you know that”, she continued walking back to the house casually.

Alphoeus rolled his eyes as he slowly walked out from behind the tree and towards the house hesitantly, once he realized that she was right though he walked a bit faster, though keeping his guard up at all times, there was no telling where they might have all gone. He soon got to the house, walking in he found his mother washing Adelphia's dress in the wash bucket, Alphoeus looked at her confused, “did Adelphia forget to mention that there was someone outside trying to kill us just moments ago?””

“Alphoeus take off your clothes so I can wash them they're filthy Alphoeus.”

“Mother, did Adelphia tell you that there was someone outside trying to kill us a few moments ago?”

His mother stared at him, “wait, what?”

“We were out there hiding behind a tree for an hour because they were shooting at us and hidden in the forest, they weren't there all of a sudden and I don't know where they went.”

His mother blinked a bit as she stared at him silently, finally she spoke, “and you didn't catch a glimpse of them?”

“No, they were hidden in the forest, I only knew they were there because of an arrow grazing my cheek.”

His mother stood and walked over and looked at his cheek, a”re you okay, your not too hurt are you?”

Alphoeus nodded, “I'm fine mother, really”, she ignored this as she gently touched his wounded, he cringed in pain, “mother that's really painful.”

She took a step back and put her hands on her hips, “well you might as well get over it because I'm going to sow it up.” She walked off ignoring Alphoeus's pleas not to, suddenly as there was a rough knocking on the door, Alphoeus slowly walked to the door, opening the door he found a man around his mothers age, and the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen in his life. The man was tall, a little taller than Alphoeus, broad and burly, his face was hidden by a finely trimmed beard, his green eyes looked into Alphoeus's with a friendly smile.

“Hello there, I was hoping I could come in for a bit, me and my friend have been traveling for weeks and are exhausted, could we stay the night? I'm more than willing to pay for the night and a meal.”

Alphoeus looked to where his mother had gone, she was known for turning away everyone especially strangers, she didn't even trust them to stay in the barn at all. “I don't think its such a good idea, but you can go and stay in the barn, just be quiet my mother doesn't take kindly to strangers very much.”

The man smiled, “thank you, your very kind, would you mind showing us to your barn then?”

Alphoeus sighed, “um... no I need to do something but as soon as I am done I will come out and show you to the barn, just go and wait out behind the tree in the back, you can't miss it its the only one out there.”

The man bowed, “thank you sir we'll be waiting for you there then.”

Alphoeus closed the door, then sat down at the table, his mother came in soon after, “sorry for the wait I had to get the needle ready.”

He nodded silently as she came over and began sowing his cheek up, he winced from the pain but didn't complain. It only took a minute for his mother to finish sowing him up, once done Alphoeus stood and walked to the door, his mother didn't question him, most likely assuming he was going to finish his chores. He walked out to the tree in the back, as he hoped he found them standing next to the tree.

The man and woman smiled at him calmly, “thank you again sir for allowing us to stay”, the man said.

Alphoeus nodded as he walked towards the barn, “come on I'll show you to the barn”, the two followed him to the barn, he opened the door and they walked in, his eyes fell upon the woman, she was beautiful but strange looking, her hair was white as snow and long, down to her waist, not a single hair was out of place it was perfect, something he'd never seen before. Her eyes were a bright yellow like the sun, her face was ageless and calm, the strangest thing about her though had to be the dark blue markings all over her body.

It wasn't long before Alphoeus realized he was staring at her, not wanting to come off as rude he quickly averted his eyes back to the man, “I won't be back tonight so please be quiet and don't take or touch anything, and be gone by the morning please.” He then closed the barn door and walked over to the sheep's pen, he couldn't go back in yet, his mother thought he was doing chores.

Adelphia sat in her room messing with her toes as she waited for her mother to get her dress washed, finally she put on a pair of trousers and walked out into the main room, “mother are my clothes done yet, I really want to put them back on!”

Her mother looked to her while washing her clothes, she shook her head, “no Adelphia, I needed to sow your brother up, but they will be done and put up to dry soon enough. Go get your brother by the way, I mean to wash his clothes whether he likes it or not.”

Adelphia groaned but I don't have my dress on mother, what if a boy comes by!”

“Oh don't even try that Adelphia you have your trousers on for one and you don't really care anyway, stop being lazy before I box your ears!”

Adelphia sighed as she stormed outside, annoyed that her devious plan did not work as she'd meant it to. She walked outside and started calling for him, “Alphoeus! Come back to the house mother wants to wash your clothes!” She looked around and didn't see him so she started wandering around the ranch, it didn't take long to find him at the sheep pens. “Alphoeus hurry up and get inside, mother wants you inside right now so she can wash your clothes.”

He nodded as he finished petting a sheep, “alright then, he headed to the house without another word.

Adelphia walked back with him but suddenly saw footprints in the grass, “hey I'm going to stay out and to till and plant the seeds. Alphoeus nodded as he continued walking to the house, as soon as he out of sight she smiled slyly and began following the footprints, she was surprised to find they led to the barn. She opened the barn doors and gasped as she found a moderately handsome man around her mothers age and the most random woman she'd ever seen.

The man smiled at her, “hello there, my name is Atilius and my companion is Aghna.”

Adelphia looked from one to the other nervously, “um...”

Suddenly the man pulled out a pastry, “would you like a piece of cake?”

Adelphia's demeanor changed instantly, “sure!” She then closed the barn doors behind her and ran over to eat the pastry.

~~Chapter two
Adelphia sat in the barn with the two strangers, she hadn't found out much other than their names, mainly she told them about her life. The sunlight which shined  through the window was now gone, Atilius and Aghna smiled as they listened intently. After a while Adelphia grew bored, she stood to her feet, “I'm going to leave for the night, will you be here in the morning?”

Atilius shook his head, “no we will be gone by the crack of dawn.”

Adelphia frowned sadly at this, “really? Well that's too bad, goodbye then I guess”, she then walked out. She closed the door and walked back to the house, she walked inside to find her mother cooking dinner.

Suddenly she turned and looked at her angrily, “where have you been Adelphia, your brother tells me you went off to plant the seeds but we both know you don't know anything about planting seeds don't we?”

Adelphia sighed as she nodded, “yeah, its true I wasn't planting seeds. I was um...” she thought fast and came up with a quick alibi, “I was feeding the sheep, and then I decided to groom them and take them out to graze again, they didn't have long enough to graze earlier today.”

“That was a stupid thing to do Adelphia, Alphoeus told me about the people who tried to kill you today, you could have gotten the sheep and yourself killed”, sighing her mother shook her head in disappointment, “its time for supper”, she poured soup into a bowl and set it on the table. “Aldephia, take this bowl to your brother his clothes are still wet and I don't want the floor to get wet.”

Adelphia took the soup to her brothers room, walked in finding him in sopping wet clothes as his mother had said, on the bright side his clothes were clean.

Alphoeus smiled at her, “thanks I'm so hungry”, then began scarfing it all down like an animal like he always did when no one was there to see.

Adelphia went and sat down at the table and began eating silently with her mother. Suddenly the front door was broke down, a large gray skinned thing marched in; the thing was at least six feet tall and covered in thick hard muscle, with a broad jaw filled with sharp teeth, large fangs about three inches long and an inch wide in the corners of his mouth, scars covered its body and its hair was black in a ponytail. It roared, shaking a large axe and proceeded to bash it against its large shield.

Adelphia and her mother screamed in both fear and shock, suddenly Alphoeus burst into the room with an arrow knocked to his bow, as soon as he saw the beast he quickly aimed and shot it through the head, it took a few steps forward and fell face first.
Alphoeus quickly looked to his sister and mother, he was scared, and a little confused but he needed to get his family out, he motioned for them quickly, “come on we need to go!” He lead them out of the house, there seemed to be no one out here, suddenly he turned to his left as one of the creatures charged him fearlessly, he shot an arrow killing it, he led them all to the barn, “we need to get the guards and fast.”

“Alphoeus over there quick!”

He turned in the direction his sister pointed to, finding one coming at him he shot the arrow but it blocked the arrow with its shield, Alphoeus was taken off guard by this, he pushed his sister out of the way throwing his bow to the ground as it came at him, he quickly met it grabbing it's wrist trying to stop the axe in its hand, it snarled and snapped at him trying to bite his face as they struggled, but he managed to keep it at bay. “oh gods this thing is strong!” He struggled to keep his balance, he soon noticed more of them coming for his family, his eyes widened in fear as he struggled, “no!” He got the strength to hold his own but could do nothing more as he watched as his family was about to be slaughtered.

Suddenly a bolt of fire hit on of the beasts and the man from earlier dashed at them, a sword in hand and began fighting them back, Alphoeus watched amazed it was as though he were dancing, there was a sort of rhythm to how he fought, Alphoeus soon realized how tired he was as he was taken to the ground, the thing snapping at him viciously, suddenly the thing was thrown off him ten feet away, he was amazed to find the woman from earlier only her eyes were glowing a bright yellow and there was a radiance to her being, he found himself scared.

“Get up and fight Alphoeus, do not be afraid of me.”

He hesitated only a moment before scrambling up and grabbing his bow quickly knocking it and downing one of the things the man was fighting, not that he needed any help, he seemed more than a match for them all. He couldn't believe how many were coming, they just didn't stop coming, the man and woman could obviously hold their own and Alphoeus was alright for now but his sister and mother needed to be taken to safety. He turned to the woman to find her tossing the beasts around like rags, he hated to have to leave them but his family came first. He quickly ran over to his family, they were both on the ground still, he helped them up, “come on we need to get to the stables!”

Alphoeus lead the way, downing the occasional beast, they weren't far away it was just the number of beasts attacking them. Suddenly a hand was put on Alphoeus's shoulder, he turned to find the man staring at him, “its dangerous to go off on your on lad, keep your family close to me.”

Alphoeus didn't hesitate to nod as they were led to the barn by the man, Alphoeus would shoot down a beast and then if one came too close the man would fight, downing it with ease. They were right in front of the barn when Alphoeus heard a scream from his mother, he turned in fear to find her on the ground bleeding with an arrow through her chest. Alphoeus stared, too shocked to react, finally the circumstances hit him, “mother!!” he dropped to the ground beside her, “oh gods please, please don't do this to her!” He slowly looked up as he heard laughing, the laughing came from a large beast, larger than the rest at seven feet tall, his skin was a very dark gray, almost black, with a red eyes and a huge scar across his red eye and everywhere else for that matter, he looked tougher and much more dangerous than the rest of them.

It smiled satisfied as it spoke in an unknown language, “I see I shot the bitch, another head to go to my collection!”

Alphoeus stood angrily but a hand from the man was put in front of him, “don't let him antagonize you, you don't stand a chance.”

“Oh and I suppose you do?”

The man looked to him intently, “yes that is exactly what I think boy, now back up so I can handle this.”

He stepped towards the beast taking out his sword, he took a strong looking stance, pointing the sword at it and slowly stepped closer.

It bellowed a fearsome roar, taking out dual sword he charged him and swung, the man ducked and swung the sword towards its face, the beast blocked it and swung, this time the man was forced to counter as he took a step back to have it pursue, he blocked each strike and it seemed he was having trouble until he flipped over its back, the beast spun twirling its swords as it did so, blocking them he countered, he managed to lop off its forearm, it bellowed in pain but continued blocking his attacks even as blood gushed from its wound, the man countered an attack and as their blades met he ducked jumped over the thing lopping off its head and it fell to the ground.

Alphoeus stared in wonder at this, but then remembered his mother was lying here dying. The man walked over squatting in front of her, “whats the damage?”

“She was shot in the chest, and I don' know if it went through her heart or not!” Adelphia quickly answered, sounding extremely hysterical as tears ran down her cheeks.

It was a struggle for Alphoeus to not to break down himself, he took a deep breath to keep his composure calm, “she's hurt bad we need to get her to town so they can get her healed.”

The man shook his head no need, “I can at least get the arrow die out but its poison, she will die within a month without the cure, I only know one person who can help truly heal her.”

Alphoeus shook his head, “no we have healers here they can help her.”

“No, they can't, this isn't normal poison boy, only the Elves can counter the effects of the poison.”

“There are no Elves you idiot, they are just a legend told by gleemen to make a few coins, she needs a doctor! Alphoeus yelled growing annoyed, as he did it grew harder to stay calm.

The man shook his head, “no, they are not, look you can take her to the doctors if you want but they won't be able to save her, within a month she'll pass away.”

Alphoeus glared at him ,“we will take her to town and you will see that she'll be fine! Just get the arrow out of her!”

“Oh my gods I think she's died, she isn't awake!”

Alphoeus looked over to find her, “oh no... wait no shes breathing!”

The man sighed, “yes the poison makes one fall asleep and you wake up in a week and then a die a few weeks later, trust me she won't make it unless we get her to the Elves.”

“Alphoeus maybe we should trust this man what if-”

“No! mother will be fine, you'll see....”

the man sighed, “I was hoping to avoid this.”

Alphoeus looked at him confused, “what do you mean? His eyes widened as the man lifted up his sleeve showing the mark of the Paladin.”

“I tell the truth boy, its all I can tell, you can trust me.”

Alphoeus couldn't believe it, he was silent a moment, finally he sighed, “fine what do you want us to do?”

“I can use magic to heal her wound, but that's all I can do, pick her up we need to get her inside the barn and lay her down.”

Alphoeus was careful not to hurt her as he picked his mother up, he took her into the barn, Adelphia made a hay bed for her and Alphoeus layed her down in it. The man walked in rolling up his sleeves and taking his gloves off, behind him the woman walked in, her eyes were back to normal now. The man walked up to their mother calmly, he quickly rolled her over and broke the arrow head, then ripped it out, her body convulsed but she didn't scream as blood gushed out of the wound. The man quickly unbuttoned the dress as fast as he could and then lifted her blouse over her chest so he could reach the wound showing her bare chest.

Alphoeus quickly looked away in embarrassment, seeing a woman he wasn't married to bare chested was bad enough but his mother no less, he was scarred for life.

Alphoeus had looked away, but Adelphia wanted to see what Atilius planned to do. He put  hand on her breast, “um...” “well this is awkward.” However a bright light enveloped his hand and her mothers breast, a few moments later he took his hand away to reveal her breast to be fine, with not so much as a scar.

Atilius sighed, “like I said before the arrows have poison on them, I can't save her on my own, I'm not an herbalist, but I do know someone who can save her. If you come with us she may have a chance at survival.”

Adelphia and Alphoeus looked at each other only a moment before nodding with conviction, Alphoeus was the one to speak, “okay but only if we can come back home, I don't know who you are, but we need to come back home.”

Atilious nodded, “if you wish to come home afterward then by all means no one will stop you, but for now we need to start going.”

Alphoeus looked to his mother, “stay strong mother, you'll be better soon.”
