The dream

~~The Dream
1.
The wind whistled through the grassy plains.  The tall grass waved back in forth in unison almost as if it was an ocean.  This is where I should stay. It is peaceful and even the grass sings to me in its beautiful sway. A smile came over Alexander's face as he felt the warm presence of the sun gently caressing his face.  his eyes closed and he fell into a warm daydream of times gone by.  His horse neighed in the distance and Alexander ignored it.  This time in the plains was where he often went when the real world seemed to much for him.  Minute after minute the sounds and sensations for the wind flowing over his body simmered to a dull roar and finally nothing at all.  Alexander often slept in the plains, it was not for lack of a home or being on the run, it was the feeling the plains gave him, he loved them.

As he slipped into a dream vibrant colors flashed before his eyes quickly as if they were dancing quickly on an elegant dance floor.  He loved to dance with the ladies at court, the constant attention he would get about his bright blue eyes and wonderful long dark hair were all he needed to push his ego over the edge and yet it never happened.  As the colors came more into focus the same dream he always dreamed came to him and the colors morphed right in front of him into three  whirlpools of color.
On the left a mix of purple , red , and pink mixed together into a beautiful figured woman.  Her body was tightly covered in a red satin like material, her face covered up to her eyes with purple, and several pink designs littered the euphoric collaboration of colors making up her clothes.
The only visible part of her face were two bright green fierce eyes and above even stronger dark eyebrows.  Her hair was tied into a tight dark brown bun.  Everything about her was so inviting yet her eyes seemed deadly.

To Alexander she was intoxicating, he lusted after her in his mind even when he was awake.  The very idea of her figure, the colors, and the ferocity.  She was obviously dangerous to Alexander but that only made him want her even more.  In his dreams he would try and talk to her but every time she vanished in swirl of red, purple, and pink.  This one women in his dreams had been a part of his dreams every night since he could remember.
Alexander began speaking to her in his dreams while he laid against a tree, sat in the grass, or just standing.  He stopped approaching here in fear she would disappear.  She never answered any question or made any statements , but on rare occasions he would see a rise of an eyebrow, her cheeks rise, and even a tilt of the head.  These interactions were what he lived for as he took the world in.

Alexander! Alexander!  Alexander woke quickly looking around searching for who called his name.  Alexander! HELP! He finally saw, one of the soldiers was running from the direction of the cap where a giant black smoke cloud was climbing into the sky.
"What is it solider?" Alexander asked as the soldier approached.  He was covered in black soot from the fire and littered with cuts and scrapes across his face and arms.  "We were attacked by men wearing  full helmets.  We lost many, horses , food, men, and our tents." What else did you see, a leader on the fields anything?" "Nothing sir, Just a women sitting atop a horse pointing to others in her company. " "What was she wearing soldier?" The same as everyone else,  black armor, black boots.  Wait sir, she did not wear a helmet, she wore a purple scarf across her face." "Purple?" Questioned Alexander.  " Yes, purple."

Alexander stood silent for a moment shaking at the possibility that this woman could be the one in his dreams.  He quickly shook off the feeling.  " Go take care of the wounded and yourself soldier, and ready my armor. " "Yes sir" The soldier ran off to make his preparations and Alexander stared off into the distance, wondering of the possibilities.
