I'm a writer. 

I would aspiring, but I've already written things. It may not exactly be a job, but doesn't it still count, even as a hobby or freelancing-type thing?

I would write serious things, but there's enough time and places to be serious and I just want to put down more lighthearted fare or parodies since my beloved Fantasy has started taking itself waaaaay too seriously. It's all grim Dung Ages and plagues and peasants being forced to eat their own dead before the Necromancer gets them. Jeez.

Well, anyway, my preferred genres are Fantasy (Supernatural), Horror, Mystery, Thriller, and Suspense. I despise Romance generally, although I get the appeal for it.
Like I hate peanuts but it's fine that people love peanut butter even if the peanut butter is stupid or poorly written.
